Thank you for the feedback yesterday, we had an overwhelming response. We’ll comb through those in detail and report back what we learn.
We released a new podcast episode talking about the job market - we relayed a few musings that may work to stand out in a crowded market. Hope it spurs some ideas!
Now back to the goods…
Workhuman
VP of Customer Success
Massachusetts
Workhuman is the world’s fastest-growing social recognition and continuous performance management platform.
What we think Workhuman does:
Looks like they really want to promote recognition in the workplace
Second product offering focuses on making sure there is a line of communication between managers and individual contributors
Service Milestones, Life Events and Community Celebration all bring light key moments in a persons life alongside their organization
Why we like Workhuman right now:
According to CrunchBase, they raised capital back in 2014 and have not had to since - I think this means profitability early on and therefore they’ve not had to go back for more
They talk about this VP position as an important part of the leadership team in the job description, make sure to dive into that with the interview process
77% employee growth over the last 2 years according to LinkedIn - the trend is steady, not too big not too small
I’m on the fence about the market - this seems like a technology that could takeoff with remote work but it also seems like a ‘nice to have’. Something to consider during the interview process
Some logos include…LinkedIn, Cisco, Eaton, JetBlue, Cardinal Health, Merck, Intuit, P&G, and UnitedHealth Group
Glassdoor shows an 80% recommendation and an 87% approval rating of the CEO - nothing to scoff at

Senior CSM
Remote - Central / Mountain
As SaaS solutions continue to make their way into almost every traditional software and market offering, organizations will need to assess, build, and develop the skills of their team members to align to their overall strategy. Cloud Academy offers structured programs and in-house built tech platforms to drive change within large organizations. They are looking for a remote Sr. CSM to help their key accounts evolve the skill within their organization.
What we think Cloud Academy does:
Provides out of the box, configuration, and customizable programs that will evaluate and develop the skills or the technical staff within an organization.
Leverages in-house build Ed-Tech platforms to create engagement that helps team members retain the content that organizations need to comprehend in order to grow
Their library of out-of the box content allows organizations to quickly deploy training on a relevant topic like AWS, Google Cloud, MS Azure, and many others.
Why we like Cloud Academy:
Helps organizations build talent from within their existing teams instead of relying on hiring external talent to grow and scale.
Ed-tech is a booming industry right now.
