They provide a front-end platform for employees to navigate their company-provided benefits.
In parallel, they provide back-end tools and services for HR teams to manage all aspects of the employee benefits sphere.
According to G2 Crowd, some of their competitors would include Benefitfocus, EBM, PlanSource, bswift, SmartBen, ALEX, Empyrean, and Alight Solutions (some of these companies may need some branding help - those are some names right there)

Reasons why I liked Businesssolver as I researched:
One thing that resonates with me is that they position a ‘personalized journey’ on their homepage - a direct correlation to customer success and thinking about the long-term value rather than a transactional approach.
They have been posting job openings even during this current crisis - this would signal to me that they are in a strong cash position and are operating in a proactive way to the market
Based on LinkedIn data, their employee count has risen by 46% over 2 years and 16% over 1 year - and this is after 22 years in business!
The fact they’ve been in business for 22+ years leads you to believe that they have an idea of long-term growth - there doesn’t seem to be any indication of them taking on private-equity or venture capital money, so they don’t have any high expectations to live up to
The benefits market continues to become more and more complex - so any technology that can improve the employee experience and make it easier to get value will be welcomed inside of organizations
