Speaking to the unique value that they create for the market, Mulesoft has been consistently looked upon favorably by investors and leaders in tech. After a series of successful funding rounds, the company went public in the Winter of 2018 before being acquired by Salesforce in for $6.5B.

Think, Back end infrastructure and integration. That’s what they excel at doing - this infrastructure and integration helps to create consistency and security for ‘piping’ to transfer data through a unified experience.
They speak to developers and give them an ability to design and build APIs, share API templates and assets, and a web interface to monitor and manage APIs and integrations.
Fun Fact: The “Mule” in their name comes from the back-end drudgery and frustration that often comes with integrating systems.

The Salesforce name is obviously respected in the tech industry and you hear about getting opportunities to further your career and taking on the responsibility
Salesforce provides stability - publicly-traded, growth-machine and really the birth of SaaS to the greater audience. Stability can be nice in times like today.
Taking a look at their customer page, it’s evident that their value is applicable to all industries, and their logos show a wide breadth of organizational maturity as well, so they can effectively compete for both upmarket and in the SMB space.
A 4.3 on Glassdoor with 257 reviews gives us confidence in their leadership, culture, and work-life balance.
IT infrastructure and integration are going to become more important as emerging tech, such as IoT and AI, become part of most businesses' technology.
They act as a thought leader in their space, publishing an impressive amount of content, which they make available on their website here.

Founded recently in 2013, this company has seen some growth, raising $200M+ in funding - a sign of the value and bright future that the private-market sees for this company. This has landed them in the coveted “Unicorn” category, reserved for privately held tech firms that have a valuation of over $1B.

They’ve tried to make product data and analytics very straightforward.
Given the shift to cloud-based environments, Pendo is at the forefront of providing an easy to integrate a solution that gets data into the hands of other departments ‘easier’.
